It all started with one kind activity from Mr. Bhailalbhai Pendavala when he tried to save a cow which was blind in the early 80’s and then he found out that this needs to be done on a regular basis as there were not many who were focusing on andh & apang cows.
With his own will he started the Andh Apang Gau Aashram in the area of 5400 square feet in 1982 in Wankaner by service and protecting few such andh-apang cows.
From there on, the organization has never looked back and with help of lots of members and donors, the Gau Aashram is now situated in over 8 acres of land and saving and protecting over 1100 cows including but not limited Dumb, Deaf, Injured In Accident, Victim of Acid Attack, Left by Their Owners and so on.
Gau Raksha
Protecting every animal is a must to restore the global environment and natural life cycle, and protecting cow is even more important to ultimately helping every human beings as cows are the ultimate givers and that is why in our Hindu & Sanatan dharma, we say Gau Mata.

At Andh Apang Gau Aashram, our aim was to do seva of Gau Mata, specially those who are being ignored and having difficulties surviving.
